Clean Energy RD&D investments

The Biden-Harris Administration is currently undergoing its first budgeting process, which will determine the level of U.S. clean energy RD&D investment moving forward. The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) has long been a global leader for scientific and innovative solutions to the climate emergency and is doubling down in its commitment to propel a clean energy future. DOE program offices and 17 National Laboratories are working to research, develop, and deploy the clean energy technologies of the future, including battery storage, renewable power, electric vehicles, carbon capture, and resilient grid infrastructure.
